I have a kitschy collection of vintage sugared fruit that I've been thrifting the past few years. It's so easy to find and always cheap. Today I filled a couple of vessels on my bookshelf and clipped some evergreens from the yard. We put Christmas decor out so early in the retail world that I'm already tired of sparkle and bows when it comes time to decorate my own home. This feels like a Colorado mountain Christmas to me!

Here we gooooo! My youngest got fed up with me and started bringing up the Christmas boxes last night, so I guess it's Christmas now.
I adore vintage wool plaid blankets like this one - especially for Christmas - but I'm really not huge on the color red, so I toned it down with an indigo mud cloth pillow to pull out the blue stripes. It's giving me the perfect "welcome to our Colorado cabin" vibes...especially with the snow outside!
We keep all of our gloves in that antique pear crate below the church pew. With no real "entryway" in our house, no coat closets, or storage for winter gear, we have to get creative.

So many new faces here after The Great Ironstone Tragedy of 2022 (scroll back a few reels if you didn't see it) that I thought I should reintroduce myself...and maybe break a few more things!
I'm Kellie, slinger of vintage treasures, purveyor of not-so-fine antiques, and lover of all things rusty, crusty, and chippy! Here are a few fun-ish facts...
* I'm a hard-core, awkward, introvert, but I love connecting here on IG.
* I love leopard print and consider it to be a neutral.
* This is always my Zoom background because it's the only spot in my home that stays clean and organized.
* My house is mostly decorated with antiques and vintage items, but I believe a mix of new and old is important.
* Treasure hunting is my favorite part of my job.
* I'm a serial over-user of exclamation points because I need you to know I'm enthusiastic!!!!!
