Sometime in late February I was telling my friend @melanieverhart "Man, if I could just have ONE straight week off of work, I know I could clean and purge and whip my house into shape!"

Yeah, no, apparently I'm just lazy because 4 weeks later I haven't done ANY of that. What is wrong with me??? Everyone else is out there learning to make bread and painting the insides of their closets and I'm here wearing the same clothes I slept in and eating peanut butter out of the jar.

Oh, but I did unpack these cutie footed planters. Does that count for something? They're also adorbs for pinch pots, sage burning, or next to the sink as a ring dish! .

Can I tell you about one of my favorite people on this planet? Well good, because @kararosenberryco is someone you want to know! She is a beauty-seeker, a super-encourager, and a champion of women and small businesses. Whether it's an incredible store or restaurant, the paintings she creates, or another human being, she is always spreading the beauty she sees around her. Kara is just one of those people who feels like sunshine! .
Last week I finally had the opportunity to purchase one of Kara's paintings (she holds FB and Insta sales from time to time) and I adore how it looks on my little plant shelf. I hope you'll go and get to know her too! .

I went into the shop yesterday to do a few things. It felt like a place I recognized, but hadn't been to since childhood. It was almost dreamlike. I know we'll open again. This isn't the apocalypse...I'm just being dramatic.

I snagged a few things while I was there. I love these vintage repro soup bowls. They're modeled after the beautiful ironstone lion's head bowls you'd see in France. Perfect for a small plant, on the corner of your sink with a sponge or bar of soap...or maybe as a candy dish!
